2. Hosting

Our platform is operated on servers of IP-Projects GmbH & Co. KG, Am Vogelherd 14, 97295 Waldbrunn. The server locations are exclusively in German data centers; all data therefore remains within the EU.

The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy. When you use this website, various personal data is collected. Personal data is data with which you can be personally identified. This privacy policy explains what data we collect and what we use it for. It also explains how and for what purpose this happens. We point out that data transmission on the Internet (e.g. when communicating by email) can have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

4. Google Ads Conversion Tracking

With your consent, we use Google Ads (Google LLC, USA) to measure the success of our advertising campaigns. This involves measuring conversion events (e.g. registrations). Google Ads uses cookies and is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Data processing only occurs after your explicit consent via our cookie banner.

5. Stripe Connect Payment Service

For customer payments (e.g. credit card, SEPA direct debit) as well as payouts to coaches, we use Stripe Payments Europe Ltd.; a Stripe Express account is created for providers. Stripe is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and provides Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC).

6. Email Delivery with Postmark

Transactional messages (booking confirmations etc.) and our optional newsletter are sent via Postmark (Wildbit LLC). Postmark operates EU servers and offers a GDPR-compliant Data Processing Addendum including SCC.

7. Video Conferences with Daily

Live video coaching is conducted via the Daily platform (Daily Co, USA). Daily is SOC 2-Type 2 and GDPR compliant, uses SCC as well as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

8. Data Transfer to Tax Authorities

According to the Platform Tax Transparency Act (PStTG), we are obligated to report certain revenue and provider data to the Federal Central Tax Office (BZSt). Legal basis: Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. c GDPR in conjunction with §§ 3 ff. PStTG.

9. Cookies

We use different types of cookies: **Technically necessary cookies (session cookies):** These are required for the login function and shopping cart and are stored on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR. **Analytics and marketing cookies:** With your consent, we use Google Ads cookies for conversion tracking. These are only loaded after your explicit consent via our cookie banner. Cookies are small data packets and do not cause any damage to your device. They are stored either temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (permanent cookies) on your device. Session cookies are automatically deleted after the end of your visit. You can change your cookie settings at any time via our cookie banner or disable cookies in your browser settings.

10. Storage Duration

Personal data is deleted as soon as the processing purpose no longer applies. Legal retention obligations (e.g. HGB, AO: up to 10 years) remain unaffected. Unless a more specific storage period has been mentioned within this privacy policy, your personal data will remain with us until the purpose for data processing no longer applies. If you assert a legitimate request for deletion or revoke consent to data processing, your data will be deleted unless we have other legally permissible reasons for storing your personal data.

11. Data Transfers to Third Countries

For service providers based in the USA (Google Ads, Stripe, Postmark, Daily), EU Standard Contractual Clauses apply, and for Google, Stripe and Daily additionally the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

12. Protection of Minors

screen.coach is exclusively aimed at persons aged 18 and over. Users under 18 may only use our services with the consent of their legal guardians.

13. Social Media Presence (LinkedIn Pages)

We maintain LinkedIn company pages for Appilogic GmbH and screen.coach. For the processing of Page Insights data, LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company and we are joint controllers (Art. 26 GDPR). LinkedIn provides a corresponding agreement for this purpose.

14. Data Subject Rights

You are entitled to the rights mentioned in Art. 15 to 21 GDPR at any time:

  • Information about your data stored with us and its processing (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • Correction of incorrect personal data (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • Deletion of your data stored with us (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • Restriction of data processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • Objection to the processing of your data (Art. 21 GDPR)

To exercise these rights, you can contact us at any time at baraki@appilogic.com. You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority about our processing of your personal data.

15. Security

We use TLS encryption and role-based access controls. Our data processors are contractually obligated to confidentiality and data security. This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or inquiries. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line. When SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

16. Changes to This Policy

This privacy policy is continuously adapted to technical or legal changes. You can always find the current version at https://screen.coach/datenschutz.

17. Server Log Files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

  • Browser type and browser version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • Hostname of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server request
  • IP address

This data is not combined with other data sources. The collection of this data is based on Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimization of its website – for this purpose, the server log files must be recorded.

18. Contact Options

If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your details from the inquiry form including the contact data you provide there will be stored with us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent. The processing of this data is based on Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR, provided your inquiry is related to the fulfillment of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective processing of inquiries directed to us. The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you request deletion, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies. Mandatory legal provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

Inquiry by Email, Phone or Fax

If you contact us by email, phone or fax, your inquiry including all resulting personal data (name, inquiry) will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request. We do not pass on this data without your consent. The processing of this data is based on Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR, provided your inquiry is related to the fulfillment of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective processing of inquiries directed to us. The data you send to us via contact inquiries will remain with us until you request deletion, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies. Mandatory legal provisions – in particular statutory retention periods – remain unaffected.

19. Newsletter

If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we require an email address from you as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the specified email address and agree to receive the newsletter. Further data is not collected or only on a voluntary basis. We use this data exclusively for sending the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties. The processing of the data entered in the newsletter registration form is based exclusively on your consent (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke the consent given for the storage of data, the email address and its use for sending the newsletter at any time, for example via the "unsubscribe" link in the newsletter. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation. The data you have deposited with us for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter will be stored by us until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and deleted after canceling the newsletter or after the purpose ceases to exist from the newsletter distribution list.
